Antique Nursing Chair in Black

A striking antique nursing chair with a generous circular seat, elegant turned detailing and original-style castors. The frame has been restored and hand-painted in Vintro Victorian Black, then finished with clear wax for added protection.

The seat and outer back have been upholstered in a rich black chenille fabric, giving the chair a soft, textured finish while keeping the overall look understated. The inner back provides the contrast, upholstered in a purple and black printed cotton featuring a wolf design and the wording:

“Throw me to the wolves and I will return leading the pack.”

Black decorative upholstery studs complete the design and tie the contrasting fabrics together.

This is a distinctive statement chair that would work well in a bedroom, dressing room, hallway or as an occasional chair in a living space.

Nationwide and International delivery is available.

We arrange delivery with one of our trusted furniture couriers - this will generally be a one-man service and help will be needed to unload the item at the buyer’s home.  If a two-man service is required there may be an extra charge. 

We charge a flat rate of £60 for delivery to mainland UK.
