Introducing a well proportioned Victorian mahogany chest of drawers. Crafted for both elegance and practicality, this piece features a classic design with two short over three long drawers, adorned with wooden pulls, hand-cut dovetail joints and solid wood bottoms. Raised on bracket feet with a shaped apron with inlay.  Its feature of separating in half ensures easier transportation.

This piece has been thoroughly cleaned, waxed and buffed to bring back its shine.  The raw wooden drawers have been treated with a nourishing wood balm that leaves a gentle citrus scent, reviving and restoring the wood's natural beauty.

This chest of drawers remains structurally solid and sound. It is in good condition throughout with some signs of age which do not detract from its beauty. There are age-related marks and light scratches, as well as some minor damage to the legs and where the two pieces sit together (please see detailed photos). The drawers all run smoothly, with one of the handles being slightly damaged but it doesn’t affect the use promising both functionality and aesthetic appeal.
