Three Drawer Chest of Drawers in Pale Pink and Wood

This beautiful mid century chest of drawers has been fully stripped and the outside hand painted in “Tea Rose”, a pale pink mineral chalk paint by Dixie Belle, then sealed and varnished in matt to protect.

The carefully renovated drawers and legs have been dark waxed to bring the piece bang up to date, and the three drawers have dovetail joints and solid wood bases. The base of the top drawer has been painted to match in pale pink, whilst the other two have been treated with wood balm with a delicate citrus scent, which also restores and revives the wood.

The original, striking but simple handles have been cleaned and painted gold for a touch of glamour.

This is a lovely vintage piece, simply styled with clean lines and straight legs which will appeal to anyone preferring a more contemporary look to their furniture, while still wanting the mid century modern look.
