Set of Six Dining Chairs in Black with Light Grey Velvet

This striking set of mismatching yet complementary dining chairs, has been given a fresh contemporary, dramatic look, hand painted in black chalk paint, then clear waxed to protect. The edges of the chairs have been highlighted using silver gilt wax.

A lovely, silver grey velvet fabric now adorns the newly recovered seat pads.

There are three pairs of chairs - one set with turned legs and simple lath backs, another classically designed with curved front legs and solid backs, and the final set of two Chippendale style dining chairs with carved detail to the backs, cabriole legs and a serpentine top.
