Queen Anne Writing Bureau in Green

This gorgeous, stylish bureau with the distinctive curved and carved legs of the Queen Anne period has been handpainted in “Everett” green by Fusion - “an aged and weathered olive green with subtle bronze undertones. This complicated colour is earthy, tranquil and grounding.”

Internally, it has been painted in “Eucalyptus” by Fusion to complement the outside and cubby holes. A brand new olive green leather skiver has been added with a subtle tooling pattern.

Soft gold highlights the striking original handles and adds to the glamorous finish. New felt has been added to the tops of the pull out arms.  The key and tassel have been added for decorative purposes and as a useful way to open the drop front.

The sturdy drawers have solid wood bases and dovetail joints. The whole piece has been treated to a hemp base salve with a delicate citrus scent, which restores and revives the wood. 

Perfect for the home office, or can be used as a dressing table using the hinged fall front.

DELIVERY

Nationwide delivery is available.

We arrange delivery with one of our trusted furniture couriers - this will generally be a one-man service and help will be needed to unload the item at the buyer’s home.  If a two-man service is required there may be an extra charge. 

We charge a flat rate of £60 for delivery to mainland UK.  For Highlands, Islands and Ireland, please contact us for an accurate quote prior to purchase.

Collection is also welcome near Reading.  For smaller items we send via an insured postal courier.
