Large Five Drawer Vintage Chest of Drawers in Dusky Pink

This vintage pine chest of drawers has been fully stripped and hand painted in “Sulking Room Pink” Modern Eggshell by Farrow & Ball.  Described as “a muted rose with enormous warmth, its powdery feel makes it incredibly soft and easy to use with complementary tones. Sulking Room Pink is evocative of the colours so often used in boudoirs, a room named after the French "bouder" - to sulk.”

New tulip shaped feet have added  to its grandeur, and champagne coloured handles in the shape of a four leaf clover replace the originals.

The five drawers have solid wood bases, and the top two smaller drawers have been painted inside to complement the whole piece.  The locks are working and a champagne tassel is included with the key.   

Whilst on the verge of “rustic”, it’s glamorous yet soft facelift ensures this vintage chest will add a romantic appeal to any room.

N.B. There are some minor signs of historic woodworm, but the piece has been fully treated.
