This solid, classic five drawer chest of drawers by Stag Minstrel has three small drawers and two large drawers, all with solid wood bases and dovetail joints.

It has been hand painted in “Aubergine” by Dixie Belle - A rich dark purple which will add opulence to your decor.

The original drawer handles have been painted with a shimmer gold finish.  The whole piece has been clear waxed to protect, and the individual drawers have been treated to a hemp base salve with a delicate citrus scent, which restores and revives the wood.

The simple clean lines of this chest of drawers were designed by John and Sylvia Reid for Stag. Inspired by Scandinavian designers, they were pioneers of British MCM furniture in the 1970’s. This Minstrel range of furniture is currently having a resurgence of popularity.

A versatile piece that would be perfect for the bedroom, study or bathroom with its ample storage. It would even suit the hallway or living room with its royal, elegant tones.
