Classic Mahogany Twin Pedestal Desk in Black

Featuring nine dovetailed drawers, including a full-width locking central drawer with key and tassel, the desk offers ample storage. Each drawer is fitted with its original brass swan-neck handles, carefully cleaned and highlighted with subtle gold gilt to enhance their detail. The desk rests on classic bracket feet, adding to its traditional charm.

The body has been fully stripped and hand-painted in “jet black” using Wise Owl One Hour Enamel, providing a durable, smooth finish. The leather inset top has been refinished in black, with delicate bronze marbling to create depth and texture.

Inside, the solid wood drawers have been treated with a natural wood balm, leaving them nourished and lightly scented with citrus.

Practical as well as beautiful, this desk splits into three sections for easy transport and placement in your home. Whether used as a desk, dressing table, or statement piece, it will bring both style and functionality to any interior.

Nationwide and International delivery is available.

We arrange delivery with one of our trusted furniture couriers - this will generally be a one-man service and help will be needed to unload the item at the buyer’s home.  If a two-man service is required there may be an extra charge. 

We charge a flat rate of £60 for delivery to mainland UK.

Collection is also welcome near Reading.  For smaller items we send via an insured postal courier.
