Bow Fronted Four Drawer Bird’s Eye Maple Chest of Drawers in Green

This beautifully restored bow-fronted chest of drawers combines classic craftsmanship with a rich, contemporary finish.

The solid frame has been fully stripped and refinished in our own bespoke mix of Wise Owl One Hour Enamel in a deep, dark green, creating a striking contrast with the drawer fronts and top, which are crafted from beautifully figured Bird’s Eye maple. The exposed grain has been enhanced using Dixie Belle gel stain, bringing warmth and depth to the natural wood.

The chest offers generous storage with two smaller drawers over two full-width drawers. The handles have been cleaned and refreshed with gilt wax in brass, retaining their aged patina and period charm. Gracefully shaped legs and the curved bow front give the piece a timeless silhouette, with a subtly rustic feel that reflects its age and history.

N.B. There are a few minor age-related imperfections, barely visible and entirely in keeping with the character of the piece. Some small signs of historic woodworm are present, consistent with its age; this is no longer active and the piece has been fully treated. The chest is solid, stable, and ready for everyday use.

Nationwide and International delivery is available.

We arrange delivery with one of our trusted furniture couriers - this will generally be a one-man service and help will be needed to unload the item at the buyer’s home.  If a two-man service is required there may be an extra charge. 

We charge a flat rate of £60 for delivery to mainland UK.
