Transform your space with this unique Rustic Jacobean Oak Sideboard featuring distinctive barley twist legs.
The sideboard underwent a thorough restoration process, beginning with the full stripping of its original finish to reveal the beautiful grain. The body of the cabinet was lime waxed, enhancing its natural allure, while layers of hard wax oil were applied to the top for protection.
The barley twist legs and cross bar received a treatment of hard wax oil to accentuate the deep oak tones, adding a touch of sophistication. The interior, painted in a custom mix of cream paints by Dixie Belle, complements the rustic exterior and has been clear waxed for protection. The original drop handles, thoroughly cleaned, gracefully adorn the sideboard once more.
This sideboard stands out with its unique blend of rustic charm and elegant details, featuring simple geometric carvings and barley twist legs. Beyond its aesthetic appeal, it offers spacious storage, making it a beautiful and functional addition to your living space.

N.B. There are some minor signs of historic woodworm, but the piece has been fully treated. Please see photo showing a split in the right hand side panel - this does not affect stability or detract from the beauty of this dresser.

Nationwide delivery is available.
We arrange delivery with one of our trusted furniture couriers - this will generally be a one-man service and help will be needed to unload the item at the buyer’s home. If a two-man service is required there may be an extra charge.
We charge a flat rate of £60 for delivery to mainland UK. For Highlands, Islands and Ireland, please contact us for an accurate quote prior to purchase.
Collection is also welcome near Reading. For smaller items we send via an insured postal courier.
