This eye catching, unique African hand carved chair in solid dark wood has been cleaned thoroughly and had lashings of dark wax and clear wax applied.

An occasional chair of a simplistic two plank construction, it is also known as a palaver chair: a traditional piece of African furniture which was once used as a birthing chair.

It is beautifully handcrafted and decorated with deep carvings around its simple form.

It really is an interior design dream! What a talking piece this would be with its beauty and history on display, gracing the corner of a living area or hallway.

Nationwide and International delivery is available.

We arrange delivery with one of our trusted furniture couriers - this will generally be a one-man service and help will be needed to unload the item at the buyer’s home.  If a two-man service is required there may be an extra charge. 

We charge a flat rate of £30 for delivery to mainland UK.

For Highlands, Islands, Ireland or International, please contact us for an accurate quote prior to purchase.

Collection is also welcome near Reading.  For smaller items we send via an insured postal courier.
