Linen Press Storage Cupboard in Green

A simple, well-made linen press thought to be from the 1940s, carefully restored to bring out the warmth of its original veneer and the quiet practicality of its design.

The cupboard doors and drawer fronts are finished in a hard wax oil with a gentle sheen that highlights the natural movement of the grain. The frame is painted in “Jupiter” by Wise Owl Paint — a deep, characterful green enamel chosen for its depth and durability. Together, they create a considered contrast between warmth and structure.

Inside, the wood has been treated with a citrus-scented balm that refreshes and revives, while preserving the original surfaces. The upper cupboard opens to reveal a fixed internal shelf, and the three drawers below offer smooth and spacious storage. The original wooden handles have been retained and lightly refinished to sit quietly within the updated palette.

Modest in origin but full of quiet charm, this piece has been reimagined with care and is ready for a new chapter.

Nationwide and International delivery is available.

We arrange delivery with one of our trusted furniture couriers - this will generally be a one-man service and help will be needed to unload the item at the buyer’s home.  If a two-man service is required there may be an extra charge. 

We charge a flat rate of £60 for delivery to mainland UK.
