Mid-Century 3-Drawer Chest in Black and Teak

A beautifully restored mid-century teak chest of drawers, combining timeless style with practical storage. With clean lines, tapered legs, and shaped metal handles, this compact piece captures the simplicity and elegance of mid-century design.

The body has been fully stripped and refinished in Wise Owl One Hour Enamel “Jet Black”, giving a smooth, durable finish that contrasts perfectly with the rich teak grain. The drawer fronts and top have been carefully restored and sealed with a satin hard wax oil, enhancing their natural warmth and protecting the wood for years to come.

Each solid wood drawer is built with dovetail joints and solid bottoms. The interior has been nourished with a premium furniture salve, preserving and enhancing the natural beauty of the wood while leaving a subtle citrus scent.

Though sympathetically refinished, it retains a few subtle age-related marks which only add to its authentic patina and vintage charm. With three roomy drawers, it’s both stylish and functional — perfect for a bedroom, living room, or hallway.

DELIVERY

Nationwide and International delivery is available.

We arrange delivery with one of our trusted furniture couriers - this will generally be a one-man service and help will be needed to unload the item at the buyer’s home.  If a two-man service is required there may be an extra charge. 

We charge a flat rate of £60 for delivery to mainland UK.

Collection is also welcome near Reading.  For smaller items we send via an insured postal courier.
