Bedside Drawer Set by Stag Minstrel in Dark Purple

A solid, classic set of bedside drawers by Stag Minstrel. Both pieces have a shelf and a single drawer in each, with solid wood bases and dovetail joints.

They have been hand painted in “Aubergine” by Dixie Belle - A rich dark purple which will add opulence to your decor.

The original drawer handles have been painted with a shimmery gold finish.  The whole piece has been clear waxed to protect, and the individual drawers have been treated to a hemp base salve with a delicate citrus scent, which restores and revives the wood.

The simple clean lines of this chest of drawers were designed by John and Sylvia Reid for Stag. Inspired by Scandinavian designers, they were pioneers of British MCM furniture in the 1970’s. This Minstrel range of furniture is currently having a resurgence of popularity.

A versatile set that would be perfect for the bedroom by the bedside, or as simple side lamp tables in the living room. They would even suit the hallway with their royal, elegant tones.

DELIVERY

Nationwide delivery is available.

We arrange delivery with one of our trusted furniture couriers - this will generally be a one-man service and help will be needed to unload the item at the buyer’s home.  If a two-man service is required there may be an extra charge. 

We charge a flat rate of £60 for delivery to mainland UK.  For Highlands, Islands and Ireland, please contact us for an accurate quote prior to purchase.

Collection is also welcome near Reading.  For smaller items we send via an insured postal courier.
